I am so glad that I don’t have to
worry about school!!! It seems like what I am doing here is so much more
important and way more enjoyable! When I think about all of my aunts and uncles
who have trials, I pray that they can know what I know, which is that the Lord
can help anyone overcome any trial.
So for the stories...I made my first
trade already! I got this super amazing Columbian long-sleeved hooded shirt
thing from my Columbian friend in exchange for my orange Nike shirt! It was
basically a steal because this Columbian shirt is cooler than any shirt I own
at home!
The Latinos left the MTC and went to
their missions so we were all sad for that. The last day they were here, we sang
God Be With You ‘Til We Meet Again (in
Spanish) and it was awesome. Tomorrow I get to go through the temple without headsets!!!
I'm so excited because last time, the temple was so amazing! We are so blessed
to have a temple right by us here in the MTC and we get to go every week. When
the new temple is built by you guys, I would advise you to go once a week-- or as
much as possible, because it is literally one of the greatest things in the
world. I want to travel the world and visit all of the temples because there
are so many beautiful ones and I have gotten different feelings inside each
temple. On Saturday, we get to proselyte!!! Elder Devashrayee and I are so
excited!!
The other day, there was
a group of young adults walking to a soccer game and they passed the MTC,
so I stopped them and talked to them about the game they were going to and told
them all about myself and why I was here. I got to say some things about the
gospel and it was so cool because I actually was able to understand them!!!
Saturday Elder DRAY and I will for sure baptize a couple ;) I wish I could
remember everything that I wanted to tell you, but the days are starting to
mesh together. If I weren’t writing in my journal, I would have no idea what
day it is or anything. It’s starting to pick up and I am doing very well! Love
you all and hope all is well.
Elder McRae
