11.17.14

Ok, I was thinking about buying a Uruguay Jersey and putting my name on it. It would cost about 2300 pesos or 100 dollars.

This week was really eventful. We went to Montevideo for the conference with Elder Christensen. On the way there, we road with Rivera so I was able to see all of my old buddies and of course my boy E' Neilson. He bought me a tub of pasoquinha (delicious...I'll probably bring some home.) We took some pictures and talked the whole bus ride. The conference went well. It was with the two missions again. President Smith is amazing and just knows the answer to everything. I wrote down the stuff that Elder Christensen said and he pretty much just made us laugh the whole time.

After sending the Zone back to T Bo, we had concilio (council) with the AP's and President. According to E' Marín, the concilio was horrible. But I didn't have anything to compare it to so I liked it. President talked a lot about Lengthening Our Stride. We changed the work schedule. Because it’s summer, we now wake up at 7 and get home at 10. We also are getting an hour longer to be in the house to plan and write in our journals (it is now a commandment to write in our journals EVERY DAY). I love this but I know that there are missionaries that are just going to take a siesta. We talked about the things we're doing in our Zone and President loved it all. Forgot to say that we ate in the mission home and it was incredible! Here comes the worst part... remember how I've said that there are a ton of stupid missionaries and because they are stupid the rest of us missionaries have to suffer? well, yeah, it happened again. WE ARE NO LONGER ALLOWED TO TOUCH A SOCCER BALL. I about lost my mind... of course I asked if we were at least allowed to practice in the mornings by ourselves… but a foolish unathletic zone leader was like, ''that's like putting beer in front of a child and telling him not to drink when he's thirsty. Let's just obey with exactness and prevent all problems.'' President wasn't there when they talked about this so I'm still going to ask him. E' Trucolo is an Elder from my group that played for a team in the Italian league before the mission and wants to go to Real Salt Lake to play after the mission and we were talking about it and we're both positive that President will allow us to practice in the mornings.

“B” was baptized. He had his phone in his pocket when he was baptized so his phones ruined(:

Also, I woke up one night in E' Marín's bed and he was like, ''what's wrong with you?'' I thought it was a dream and just went back to bed. He didn't say anything about it the next day so I wasn't sure if it really happened or not until I asked him and he was like yeah, you sleep walk and talk... its weird! haha

Two talks fell through Sunday so I talked on Repentance and it went really well.

I'm writing a lot in my journal so I’m able to remember more things that are happening through the week.

We're going to the temple next month and we need to bring a name to the temple. We're supposed to be working on Family Search but we don't have anyone in our ward to help us and stay with us for an hour each week so I would like your help!!!! ITS VERYIMPORTANT THAT I HAVE A NAME TO BAPTIZE. Can you help me?

Things are going much better though. It's crazy that we have changes in two weeks.  E' Marín and I are just getting going. He goes home in two weeks too.  Thanks for everything. I loved all of the stories! While you are cold up there, remember that it's hot as Hades down here. Vamarriba Uruguay a la celeste!

New bikes, Braian's baptism (Elder Lufi found him, gave us the referral and we baptized him, so we let E' Lufi get credit for him:)
