11.9.14

You said in your last email that you learn so much from reading Jesus the Christ.  I don't understand Jesus the Christ in English.  Talmage uses words I don't know. I read the first three chapters and didn't understand a thing. In Spanish, it’s is a little easier but I usually just read the Book of Mormon now. If there are parts that are better than others you can tell me, and I'll read them but I tried reading it and it just makes me terrified to go back to BYU where have to read books in English.

Soccer season sounds sick! I'm going to want to see a bunch of pics of the soccer team and Gavin playing and all that. I did get the Halloween pics and I love them! Gosh, everyone looks so huge!

This week went a lot better. As far as our numbers, we killed it. As far as organization, we're getting there. We're going to be having a baptism this week and two on the 29th. Our zone is doing really well also. I'm getting used to Elder Marín. We're very different that's all. He's 25 and I'm just a child. He likes to waste all of his money on food and stuff, and I prefer to starve than waste my money on food. But we're getting used to each other and we’re trying to focus more on the work than our differences.

We got new bikes! So spending an atrociously ton of money on fixing the piece of garbage bike was a waste, but whatever... I'm just glad that we have sick bikes (that might get stolen...but, oh well)

We practiced yesterday for the Christmas fireside. Apart from the Latinos who don't know how to sing, we did amazing for our first practice! I don't remember too much that happened this week, but I know that it was a good week. I'm really looking forward to Christmas though. Last Christmas was awful... it's probably a good idea not to send the jersey. I don't really need anything. Maybe just put money on my card so that I can buy you guys some cool things from here and that'll be good. Ties are always accepted though.  Once Christmas hits, I'm going to go crazy on diet and working out. I never eat in the house because it just costs a bunch of money and fruit is the most expensive thing here in this country, but if I want to be somewhat fit, I’m going to have to eat breakfast and lunch every day, and snack on fruit. Thanks for everything though!!! I love pictures too. If you want to send more pics that would be awesome!
